Re: Magellan's 1991 Audi 200 Quattro 20v Build - 14.3 @ 95

Nice, I too went with Konis and H&Rs recently. Very happy with the look and the ride quality. A little jarring over some bigger bumps, but I went 1/2 turn from full stiff on both front and rears.

Re: Share your dogs!

My pooch had a playmate for the weekend:

They certainly had an interesting dynamic - My dog probably outweighed the smaller one (Zoey) by 3x, yet was very gentle and always let Zoey win their "games ...

Re: Game of Thrones

Yeah....

Course I read the books first, so I knew it was all coming... The show does an excellent job of sticking to the story.

I'd definitely recommend the books - they're pretty easy reading despite being loooooong.

all-red tails? Very nice. Off of a V8 or did you spray them?

Re: Matt's 20V Oceanic Avant

Finally got the Konis and H&Rs in:

Overall very happy with the way it looks and rides... a little bouncy around town, but really firms up on the highway and when cornering.

Next have to get motivated to install the euro lights and harness.

Re: Magellan's 1991 Audi 200 Quattro 20v Build - 3B ALLDAY

my TAP-chipped 20V avant has no problem hanging with STis... Seems people badmouth TAP a lot but I get 30mpg on the highway and the car hauls ass in 2nd-5th. No complaints from me!

Great writeup magellan. I too am planning on bigger turbo, injectors, etc... looking forward to see what route you ...

Those all-red tails look great. I may go the cheap route and red niteshade mine to get rid of the orange as I've seen some people do.

Re: 3d scanning / cnc foam cutting.

If you're looking for any kind of dimensional accuracy - I would not suggest 123D Catch. There is another product called AgiSoft Photoscan, but it is about $150 (not too bad IMO).

If you really need accuracy, you could laser-scan, but of course that is $$$. I use all of the above on a day to day ...

Re: Drew's 1991 Audi 200 Avant

I'm not a huge fan of the color matched bump-strips. I think they serve a good visual purpose of breaking up the mass of the car.

that said... I REALLY like the other-than-black side view mirrors.... was thinking about chroming mine (a'la s4/6) and I think that picture convinced me.

Personally I think those 5-spokes look great on the avant. No issues with the ET25 offset?

Re: Meet Quattro

Cute pup and a fitting name!

Here's my pooch (also the source of my screen name):

He's clocking in at 95lb. last time I checked.
Now you need a 200 20V avant as a dog-hauler!

Matt's 20V Oceanic Avant

Figured I'd join the party over here as well.

Bought this 200 20V Avant a year ago and have slowly been getting it up to snuff over the past year.

When I bought it:
-awful paint (Lago)
-shoddily done timing belt that left the belt eating into the case cover
-dead A/C
-All stock except for a Total ...
