Re: ricks Urq RS2-ish

Did I read correctly that you're running a 9" wheel width? The fitment looks really good. What size tire are you running? The whole car looks great! I especially love that trick coil cover.

Re: Dan's 1984 UR quattro

Nice car! It's crazy that so many of these cars sat unused for such long periods of time. Mine sat for something like 18 years before I got it. Glad to see it getting some love. Very interesting front end design too. I'll be looking forward to updates

Re: We drive Time Machines

When my sister first saw my silver 83 UrQ she thought it was the car from Back To The Future. :shame: I wasn't impressed. Now every time I see her she asks " So how's your Delorean restoration going?" :foff:

Re: Sport Quattro replica 1 of 3

Nice doors Martin, but I'm not surprised. The parts you have collected thus far blows my mind. I'm not sure how you do it but I almost expect to see this sort of stuff now. To shock us now you'd almost have to find an aluminum block for your sport. Wait, you don't already have Michele Mouton in your ...

Re: Craig's Sport quattro build

You know you and Martin are always welcome to my metal working tools. I'll try and finish up with them very soon so you could keep them for as long as you need. However, if you're in a rush, you can always finish my UrQ shell for me. Like you said, there isn't much sense is us both buying all these ...

Re: Matt's 87 4ktq - "4 FOX SNAKES"

I'm glad you made it home Matt. I didn't take off on you guys, I was actually behind you in Niagara Falls. I texted Martin telling him I pulled off the at that ramp you guys were at. I had two OPP cruisers parked directly across from me so I decided I should get off the shoulder. I waited in a ...

Re: Craig's Sport quattro build

Looks good Craig. How did you flange that outer contour? I wanted to build a tipping die for the bead roller but i haven't had to build anything like this yet. It looks very challenging to fabricate. Keep up the good work!

Re: Matt's 87 4ktq -

I'm looking forward to seeing this car. There's no shortage of urq's at our pub meetings but it's very seldom we see a nice 4kq. I can't wait.

Keep up the good work,

John
