Re: Another S2 Project. Titan 1991 Audi Coupe quattro

Yeah that is steve, car bounces between colorado and Utah. He offered it to me a while back, its a good car but it was a wisconson car most of its life. It has a hole in the roof for the CB antenna and rust from what looks like a previous repair in the back, car wasn't for me.

i mean, pull out the engine, install the new one, use stock S2 wiring harnesses, stock S2 parts, its all pretty plug and play, not a lot of crazy work to do.

Picked up a new Project car, planning on doing a quick and easy 20vt conversion on it with some S2 parts sprinkled all around

you could use the stock b4 g60s, or you can use any of the upgrades that the small chassis guys use. I'm using 996 calipers with a8 rotors.

Re: Ken's URQ *New update*

I'm putting S2/90 suspension in my URQ. I actually purchased KW coilovers last week. and i'm going to but using them along with the knuckles from a CQ. I will '5-lug' them using the same parts I do when I do it to 90s and coupes.

you will use the newer CQ ball joints with it. which is a sort of ...

Re: Project 84 Days.

Alright I'll update the masses. I sort of took a small hiatus from cars and such after the Battleborn Event. I worked a lot of nights and weekends getting this car ready and neglected my family a bit, so I figured I'd take a couple weeks after the event and try to be a model citizen again.

Re: Pat's 1983 URQ Alpine white #603 , 20V in progress

the pan you have should have a part number on the outside of it... My understanding has always been that all small chassis cars need the 3b/7a style oil pan to clear the side mount radiator. Hell even the larger chassis c3 needed it with its side mount radiator.

3b and 7a have the pan extention, to allow the same oil capacity but also clearing the radiator.

Re: Pat's 1983 URQ Alpine white #603 , 20V in progress

looks like you are using an AAN oilpan... why not the 3b? I thought even the URQ had interference problems with the AAN oilpan(to the radiator)...
