Another tire I am seriously considering is the Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08. I have heard some pretty great things about those.

DUDE! I'm busy making the monies during the day! I will try for one or two this weekend. Expect some curvy roads if I find time to roll the fenders. (I rub like crazy right now) :)

Ok, update time...

So lately I have just been working out little bugs here and there. I also am working hard to rack up the much wanted 500 miles so I can crank up that boosty boost. Anyways, the last two weekends I dealt with a nasty leak from my VC vent, took a bat to my fenders and hooked up the LC. :)

Here is my fender rolling tool in use.

AND here is an LC demonstration for your viewing pleasure...

Ben, if you can wait until BBQ, Hank and I have a decent roller that you could use that bolts to the hub and has an adjustable nylon roller. I guess you gots to do what you have to do to save your tires, but .......

I already did a partial roll on the rear, and took care of the fronts. No one will ever know the difference, unless they look inside the fender. I appreciate the offer John! I may end taking you up on that if I feel the rear needs more work.

EDIT: I just realized that picture makes it look like I fubared up that fender. :dur: I didn't, it's just an optical illusion because of the way the paint is all chipped and crapped out right there.

So today I went for my first real 'long' drive in Oceanic to wrap up the 500 break in miles. I spent the day giving family members rides in it, cruised around, took lots of pictures and just caused general mayhem. :P The car did fantastic all things considered. It's a great feeling having something you built actually work. :D Anyways, the weather was ridiculous on the drive home, but other than that, all in all it was a great time. Here are some pics from the day along with an LC video. :D

Gas stop before I left town...

Snapped a couple shots on my way up to my parents...

After hanging out for a bit, my brother and I decided to go cruise around for a bit, we took a few pictures while we where out...

SO while we where out, I HAD to try my LC, I screwed up at first but the second time I got it ok. Not a perfect launch by any means, but still fun non the less. :P OH and my brother, he is used to his Mini Cooper S :P

Anyways, grand total the car racked up well over 200 hard miles on it and I used less than a 3/4 of a tank the whole time, I couldn't be happier with this dang car at the moment.

Well... except now I need to turn up the boost. :D

hahaha the video "ohhh duuude, duuuuuude! duuuuuuude!" Congrats on the long, (mechanically) uneventful drive! When you going to turn up the boost?

I'm jealous that your car isn't a winter weather garage queen. Great pictures!

As soon as I buy a new WG spring and an N75. Right now I am just running straight vacuum.

@ Darin! Why have Quattro if your not going to use it!?! :P I am pretty sure, even when I repaint it this thing it is going to still see snow covered roads. It makes for some good adventure!

HECKS YES BEN! Love the pics. Some great shots. Truthfully I hope there is still some snow in places when I come back up. I wanna go have some fun with the Quattro drive :) I'd totally rock your car in the winter Ben. I mean you can have a lot of fun without tearing through tires on snow/slick roads.

Keep it up but don't turn the boost up yet. Not until after I bring the supra up and spank your car ;) lol (truthfully I think it's gonna be close)
