Easy way to swap rear diff bushing without press?

^ I have to do this every winter morning when going into 2nd until the car has warmed up. I use Motul trans fluid and from what I understand, it doesn't do as good of a job as the OEM fluid does when cold. In the spring / summer / fall, it shifts smooth as silk.

how do you adjust the headlights? the drivers is pointing up and is straight, and the passengers side is pointing across the drivers beam.


i also just tried the double clutch, thats an interesting way to shift.
it did help though.



how the Eff do i remove the damned rear speakers?!? anyone have an etka print out?! i dont have ETKA cause i have a iMac...


i have a euro drivers pocket for the underdash and it is proving to be a PITA, but if you cant Duck it, fiddle sticks IT.

Looks like that grill has come in handy. And that is a nice pile of sockets in the grass, lol.

The DS knee shelf was a bit of a pain to put in. I had to remove some of the stamped metal brackets and use a BFH to massage the DS dash bracket to clear it. Other than that, it will bolt right up and give you some nice extra storage...and it's not euro AFAIK, it is also from US cars (mine came from a 80) with no DS airbag.

Oh? It doesn't fit with out cutting off a complete corner. I will fix it soon.

The grill is awkward, as I had to cut a hole in it to be able to use the hood latch.

Steve, I think the paint is the same color, but I need to clay bar it.

My hood is not latching properly! The drivers side can be pulled up and when you slam it down, it still kinda pops up.

pull the distributor first to make sure it does not already have a metal gear on it. some do. if it is plastic, i know http://www.motorgeek.com/memberlist.php ... ile&u=4944 centaurus3200 has one.

Yes positive Steve told me that it needs a brass one. I have one from 034 but it doesn't fit the distributer.

Have to pull the interior panels to get to the rear speakers. In order to get the panels off, have to remove seat bottom and some trim. Just did this on my project.

Sounds like you need to clean up and re-seal your tail lights.

It's not terrible, doing the same thing on my coupe right now. Pull back seat bottom, pull the hard things on each side of the seat back (fold down seats, it's the latch that holds the back up, allen head unscrews those. then they go down and out.) then find all the screws for the panel, I think there's like 4 or 5? on it. not any hidden ones that I found. once you get the panels unscrewed, pull them UP to remove them. don't miss any screws!

Gonna install my extra long mirror in the car today. and if i can i want to swap out the window regulator as well. I may not swap out the door cards just yet as i want to make sure i get the interior cleaned up before i make a boo boo on the swapped cards.

Also, ive gotta find the brass 034 gear i have so i can have them swap it out for one that isnt the wrong size.

unless... i can use the brass gear on my 20vt dizzy.

any info on this? anyone?

My guess as to why your headlights are not sitting too well with the hood is that maybe your core support is not aligned properly. Did you but in a 3 piece B4 support when swapping the hood over? If so, there is a bit of adjustability between the 3 parts that will affect the headlight location slightly.

As far as the hood release is concerned, adjusting the spring loaded pins on the hood itself can be tricky. Do it with the grill out so that you can reach in there if needed to manually release the catches. Also, grease up the pins REALLY good on the hood with light colored stuff, then lower it down till it contacts the latch, then pull the hood back up, this will show you where the pin is hitting the latch, and you can see which direction you need to move the pin to get it centered up.

I figured it out. The headlights are not adjusted properly. Still have to figure that out. But I also figured out why my good wasn't closing properly. The hood adjuster was too tall.

IMHO the b4 hood looks bad with b3 bumpers.

The 90q v6 bumper does the job it is similar to the s2 bumper and you can actually find one
