wiring done except for starter wire. the main power to starter is done. just need the last wire there.

all block and valve cover venting is complete. changed a little on the block line. now it is perfect.

i plan on going to Import Challenge to shake it out. maybe a couple light pulls to check steering, braking, and AFR.

i do want to do a good hard launch, and i do want to see full boost in 3rd for the 1/8th mile time. can guess from there the final. but i do not want to PUSH IT until Waterlands....

gotta mount the radiator overflow can, and plumb it in. working
gotta take it to get aligned once i am done dicking with the suspension this week after it is running. and a weigh in will commence that same time WOOHOO!!!!

Needed, but not necessarily for the big first day :)

ok. so i am done for the night. its hot out, and i am a sweatin.... FONKY, i say....

here is what i gather that i have left.

i need to join a 3/4 and a 5/8 hose for cooling from reservoir to t-stat side inlet.
i need to grind down a 36mm socket and make it thin walled to tighten the axle nuts on the rear of the car.
i need to replace the LCA bolts on all 4 corners, IIRC. i used old ones just to put together...
i want to put locknuts on all the mounts. so trans and rear diff need done yet.
plumb wastegates and boost control solenoid.
wire boost control solenoid.
run line to vac/boost block.
wire in a relay for starter. not NEEDED, but will do as i put a spare on the board.
wire in shift light, after i steal it from the rabbit.
run the boost gauge line, and ECU boost signal line.
i ran out of hose clamps for the cooling lines. i have them somewhere, but i dunno where they be so i will just get new ones.
mount coolant bypass catch can.
make turbo drain line and catch can drain line.
mount coolant reservoir.
fill coolant and oil and RACE GAS!!!! C-16 baby, love the blue shit....
install the intake manifold after the coolant line is done.
mount throttle cable.
make a shield for the wastegate dump, or a coupler and route towards the rear.
mount cooling fan to radiator. wire is there, just needs connected and ground.
wire the fuel pump to relay, its at the panel. and ground pumps.
maybe make a shield for above the exhaust manifold.
close up one set of holes on the firewall, on driver side.
bleed clutch line. Motive Power bleeder and Speedi-bleed on slave will make this 5 minutes if that.
make a screen for the turbo compressor inlet.
make hard stops for gas pedal and clutch pedal.

plug in ECU, and align TPS.
fill trans, drain and fill rear diff before driving.
prime fuel system, checking for leaks.
fire the bitch up and watch things.....

spin the thing down the road.
4 wheel burnout in my street.
brake-boost (2-step) to hear turbo spool up.

Janis, it will need to be tuned for that. may try to do that this week. we will see....

NOTE TO SELF: next time, wait until you make the oil return lines before filling oil. (runs off to store to buy another gallon of oil ) :slap:

soooooooo. it fires up, but i need to play with the idle.

i made a vid of priming the oil system, but thats boring.

it wont stay idling, but i will sort that out later.

i have ONE LEAK for the whole system. the lower radiator hose i used a spring clamp, ran out of hose clamps. i will swap it out later. its just a tiny dripper, dont matter for now.

video is uploading. will post it when its done.

maybe some dyno this week, definitely an alignment, and off i go.

it looks mean, yeah, but it sounds meaner. sounds pure race.

some pix to tide you'ns over for a bit.
