so a couple more quicky driving vids. i am trying desparately to get the VSS issue sorted out, but i think i have no luck with this at this time. so no boost by gear for me. can do manual launch control, though. doubt i will bother with it though....

and first impression of a twin disc? will take some getting used to. remember i have no alignment yet, and trying to take it easy. also do not have charge pipe on or boost control solenoid wired in. nor any of the WG plumbing done.

i am taking it easy right now, not trying to pound it..... but that clutch is a grippy bitch though.... and its feeling like it is gonna be a fokking blast to run it. hope it weighs ~2300 or less.... but whatever it is it is....

plus, i am sicker than a dog. feels like someone hit me full on in the face, with a damned shovel or something.

oh yes, i went and got the onboard video setup from the rabbit, along with helmet and jacket. and a shift light. so its getting there.

I like how you had to enter the car by moving the crap in the garage out of the way and then snaking yourself in the car :P Car looks really good in that GM color, reminds me of a color called Spice Red on the 06 GTO's

Cars looking good.

Also your twin will get better the more you drive it. I know mine got way better the more I drove it. Also in the DSM world we are using a accumulator off a 2g eclipse gsx. Makes the twin go from being a on/off switch to a almost normal feeling clutch. I know tilton sells restrictors that help with the on/off feel.

so the weigh-in. heavier than i had hoped. forgot that AWIC water weighs a good portion. the truck scale goes in 50 lb increments i guess.

Image

so it is between 2500-2550 without me, and a solid 2750 with me. i am ~230 so ~2500-ish lbs for the car, all fluids full.

i added a couple bars to the cage as well, but it still is much lighter than it started.

and man does it look ready to go.

Looks menacing. I love that rear 3/4 shot with the sun glare.
