Did you know that tranny mount bolts are the same thread as the oil return flange threads (smaller bolts) and other misc holes in the side of the block are same as the bigger bolt in the tranny mount lol.

I only figured this out out of sheer curiosity. I had the tranny mount bolts saved from when I put the "solid" one in because I thought I might be able to use them for something. Well, looks like I found that something lol. Woohoo saved myself a few cents.

Thats not a very cool update though so I'll just show you my new engine stand.

I'm cleaning out the garage lol...thats why it looks so nasty. Oh, and the fact that it has been raining here for almost 2 weeks straight so the garage gets flooded.

Plenty of things have been running thru my mind about this car. I am going to attempt to find my AC leak this week, and then the next thing on the agenda is to get a damn exhaust.

Then I want a manifold so I can start mocking stuff up on my block. It should look mighty fine with that turbo mounted on it!!! Maybe I'll be able to come up with a brace for it too in the meantime.

I also just want to get the car lookin' good. Roof rack, my current wheels, and a nice drop is all i want. (still want bags

)

Although due to the current times, I would consider selling my wheels and or block, etc.

I don't want to...and dont have to...but if someone tempted me with money I might give in

also have xbox360 and custom pc and a few other things for sale!!! [/shameless plug]

went to a little car meet and took some pics.

At the end I tried to get a pic of a flame from the audi...sad part is the car is running way too much timing because of the MAT sensor issue (which Kevin is fixing as we speak on my other ECU), so it wouldn't shoot a good one no matter how hard I tried lol

it seems like motorgeek wont let me post pics from my flikr??? Does anyone know how to do it? Thats why I had to upload the attachment for the pic.

oh and a pic of my wheels for my own inspiration...i was truly bored the other night

I don't know much about the K26 other than you should be able to get a nice price for it if you put it on ebay or something. Just take pics, do a little price research and post it!

Fellow lister just sold his brakes to me (nothing has been exchanged yet, but an agreement has been arrived upon)

I get his whole bbk setup. Boxster S / Carrera Monoblock calipers, A8 rotors (american), modified hubs, and adapter brackets.

I really didn't plan on spending this kind of money...but it had to be done, so that kinda changes my plans for the car this summer. Boo freakin hoo

I'm not going to be able to spend much more on it due to the other mods I need to do just to freakin get these on lol.

I'm going to need new wheel bearings, adapters for the porsche wheels, hardware, two new tires for the wheels within a week of having them on probably....

and then wont have jack shit in my wallet. I'll spend the rest of what I have on getting an exhaust all the way back, and getting a decent tune when Kevin finishes up my ECU.

The car will be lookin' right after this though!!! Only thing is that I'll definitely want to get it lower asap because it will just be doing the car and the wheels an injustice otherwise.

Looks like the Holset is just going to have to sit pretty for a while. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up another job this summer AND a job during the fall up at school. If that all works out, it WILL be ready to go for big power in the fall.

So I officially paid for the brakes. Should ship out tomorrow.

I just need to know if the brake line fittings are different for carrera calipers???

That is the only thing I'm not sure of at this point.

I guess I need new brake lines...seller suggested it.

So other things on the list of things to do include 2 new tires, 2 wheel bearings, get the new hubs pressed on, and get adapters.

Then sometime next week I'm having a full 3" exhaust made for the car. Cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

then I'm going to want to be low because of the new rollers

but thats a little bit off in the future because I will need to replenish the wallet.
