I'll be picking them up on my way back from Carlisle... hopefully I can also get a ride in the Gallardo they belonged to :D[/quote]

V8 fender flares will swallow those up no problem :-P . Got some nice RS's to trade for them ;)

We'll see. I have a strong feeling about it too though. In the worst case, they wouldn't fit and I could sell them for a good profit. I really, really hope they will fit though (and I'm pretty sure they will).

Heh, I love RS's but the t44 needs BIG wheels :) I think the stock flares will do fine in front, but it would sure be nice to have the V8 ones in the back. Too bad its insanely difficult to do that.

Spoils of the trip
Image
Image

Bad news is the trip took a beating on the car. For the past few weeks the front suspension has felt really under-damped and I've been in denial about the Bilstins being shot. When I went to put new brake pads on the car I noticed there was some greasy oil stuff coming out of the front left strut. An hour ago I hit a big pothole with that wheel, which did it in. And now over every bump it bottoms out because the strut doesn't do anything, even with the car raised all the way up. Guess it's time to send them out to Bilstins for a revalve and a shortening.

Hey Chris-

Its Mike w/ the red avant. Glad to hear you made it back home safe. I really enjoyed meeting you and your GF. Good times bud and again, thanks for all the input and help you gave during the datalogging runs.

I feel bad I didn't get a chance to even check out your beast. Can't wait to see the lambo wheels on it.

Cheers !
