Its been almost two months since I've updated this or even seen the old girl :(

Just waiting for some super snazzy parts to get here so I can go down south and put the finishing touches on her for start-up.

I'm using this as an excuse to update:

Thanks Austin for the v8 door sills :) I think they will look very nice in place of the stock boring 200 20v stuff.

530i is doing very well after a new waterpump (preventative). Its ticking because of a stuck lifter now, but its not hurting anything. Still runs like a top. 55W 5000k HIDs are going in as soon as they get here along with some poly engine/trans mounts. The headlights are WORSE than my 200 and the motor mounts were ripped (like they were in the Audi).

Re: Loxxrider's 200 20v: hardened cog gears...

Post by loxxrider »

I finally got the hardened crank cogs lined up to be made. I need people to put money down to make an order. Pricing will be similar to what EFIexpress was selling them for previously and until strength and fatigue testing can be done on the gears, there will be a liability release involved. PM me for details!

I'd love to do that sometime Jon. When life settles down (aka steady job and no school), it might become a lot more feasible.

BTW all credit goes to Hank for the pictures above of course.

looks nice.
have you seen if it clears the subframe as well though?

when i had a 4inch made(then replaced cause it was not needed), it had to be slightly ovaled in order to clear the subframe and fit between that and the shield in the photo.

I will ship it unterminated like you see it here. Chris will make the bottom portion. Like you said, 4 inch is just about impossible go get.go.fit well without doing the fitment in the car. I am sure Chris will finish it up nicely.

I haven't seen a type 44 in a while but I think the subframe lends itself to a 4 more
