Dude, I keep looking at your engine bay and keep thinking, how the f*** are you going to route the intake and IC piping?
Btw, you are going to move the fuel filter, right? I recently saw Aaron remark this to some one else.
Paraphrased: A fuel bomb waiting to go off right next to your ginormous hotside.

Yeah, fuel filter will be in a different location with the new fuel lines.
I'm not worried about intake piping (just an air filter on the end of the turbo), but the IC piping will definitely be interesting. I didn't foresee the big wastegate in the way being a problem for some reason. I'll get it figured out though.

Re: Loxxrider's 200 20v: IT LIVES!!!!
You have the IC already? Have you considered running an AWIC?
I think this kit might be good for you?
http://www.frozenboost.com/product_info ... 9d4cca29e5
Might need some creativity with piping, but it would be rad. Oh, and W/MI of course.
If you are going balls to wall, might as well.

Would have been perfect if the wastegate was on the bottom of the mani. Still might have enough room to go over top of the valve cover...if it can clear the hood

Re: Loxxrider's 200 20v: IT LIVES!!!!
Yeah, I have the intercooler. It was great for the other setup. I could do air to water, but I prefer to keep air to air if possible.
Ed, I agree. The 3" pipe ALMOST clears the hood when runnning over the valve cover. If I took the insulation off it might fit. Worst case, I get some oval pipe or run it around the turbo (which I don't want to do).

You could step down to 2.5" as well without any ill effects. Might actually help your spool to keep intake velocity up.

yeah, I could. We'll see.
I think I am going to have to sell my rods to de-stroke so I can rev past 10k... any takers?

Re: Loxxrider's 200 20v: IT LIVES!!!!
Crazy idea: Route the piping from the IC UNDER the exhaust manifold and up from behind the engine to the tb. There should be enough clearance from the DP. Heat wrap the DP and the intake piping, and maybe fab up a simple heat shield.
Advantages: hood clearance, top engine bay accessibility, out of site for a cleaner look.
Disadvantages: Your going low (ground clearance), and probably a list of other things (most likely dealing with heat and insulation from the exhaust)

Re: Loxxrider's 200 20v: IT LIVES!!!!
I would love to see someone put the 86.4mm stroke in a tall deck with some 165mm rods for a wholesome 1.9 rod ratio. It would rev to 11 no problem with 2.3l of displacement. I do agree though that the short deck probbaky would need a destroke to see 11k on a regular basis

damn this thing is going to be straight evil!
i still say this has the highest ratio of turbo potential to clutch potential ever!!!! Got to be at least 3:1

Update on my Bilstein situation.
I contacted them via e-mail and expressed my distaste for the situation. They ultimately offered to fix the situation free of charge to me including the shipping both ways. I'm happy and my faith has been restored! However, if they blow out again within 2 years or so I'm going Koni on this car too.

That turbo is stupid crazy...put a real mans k24 on it ya nut
Re: Loxxrider's 200 20v: IT LIVES!!!!
The scary thing is that I still have turbo envy. I just saw a build where someone had a s375 on their AAN and said it was too laggy, so they went to a billet 71mm precision. We'll see how happy this turbo makes me. If it doesn't, I'll try a pro52 or maybe some big precision.

I look this idea as I don't see many PTE's being used in conjunction with I5's... yet every other platform hat they've been used on is getting awesome results with them... at least that's my take on it... But I'm sure that Holset of yours will give you plenty to play with for now...

Re: Loxxrider's 200 20v: IT LIVES!!!!
Nick, here is what I wrote about them a little while back
"... those are DM Forged Rods. I got them from Hank, but Marc (EFIexpress) also has them. They are really nice pieces and I expect very good things from them. Being I-beams, they are a bit lighter than most, have less windage losses, and are rated for 275 hp per rod. They are rifle drilled stock, come with ARP 2000's stock or upgrade to 625's (what I'm doing), and they are machined in North America. Seemed like a no-brainer for me especially considering the retail price of $625. H-beams are available too (fo cheaper
)"

(don't mind the dust I got in this one)
