Anyone ever has luck resetting odometers on digital s6?

Post by Grillage »

I have one that I have made a trip computer work in but the mileage is about 60,000 higer than is on my car. I'd love to dial it down to the real mileage and be the only guy in the US with a trip computer in his C4 S6!

I thought about this before but never tried it. one way to do it is set it up on the bench and feed it the wheel speed input. digitally drive it to a few hundred mph and let it roll over once it reaches max. can be done pretty easily if you've got a function generator.

Most places that deal with speedos and odos can change it for you, especially if you have the original in hand.
