One of the things I talked to Hank about was maybe incorporating a seller rating for the vendors here, or even just for the folks in the swap meet.

I see a lot of other forums with a 'thanks' rating, maybe this could be adapted with some more appropriate term instead of thanks. I don't think we all need a pat on the back after a helpful post, but I think we'd all like to have a way to track buyer / seller ratings. Maybe along the lines of a post counter, but it could be a transaction counter? Just throwing ideas out there...

How about a boost gauge, if you are in the boost you have a good rating, if you are sub-atmospheric - you are sucking...

How about a fabrication type thread.

It could range from basic ideas, tips, solutions all the way to CNC machining,Welding help etc.
Just a thought.

Well the truth comes out... I bought my kids kindles so that I can root and use them when they go to sleep....
I come home today to do some casual browsing using TapTalk HD and I use the Photo Browsing method to quickly skim thru topics... for some reason I can't for T.P.P.

No idea how to fix that, I don't see anything in the tapatalk control panel about that. Will look into it further.

Another thing...Multi-quote would be nice. One thing MG never had but is a very nice feature.

Yeah that's one that is on my list. Not sure if there are any current mods working on this new version, if not ill just have to code it myself.

Spoken like a true engineer ;)

I might get hazed for this, but the white on black hurts my eyes.

They're at the bottom of the page. I may add them to the top as well if I can make it look clean

It's not for everyone. I personally use black backgrounds while writing code since I do it 8 hours a day, it is actually much easier on the eyes since it hugely reduces the brightness/lumens of the display.

I was thinking of slightly reducing the contrast of the main font, if you think that might help.

I do like being able to see the most recent threads in one main menu and then being able to look at specific sections.

Agreed, I like being able to see that rather than having to search through the various sections to see the latest posts. It doesn't have to be on the main page, but it would be nice to have somewhere easy to access.

I also like the view active topics as default, but if it's not going to be I can live with clicking it ;)

Or trying to set it as the default when I start typing 'thep...' in chrome

Ah, I see it now. I'm used to it being on the top I guess.

On the subject of forum colors, are user-selectable colors an option? I know you have the selectable themes. I just saw that under the UCP, but that would mean you have to code those, which might be a pain.

i didnt read thru.

but when you click on a link someone has posted on a thread, can you make it open in a NEW PAGE/TAB instead of going to it directly and losing where you were in the first place?
