I hope so. There is a lot to do on it, and I have a lot of projects that are ahead of it at the moment unfortunately.

Turned out pretty well. I got the rebuilt ps rack in today and we are officially in assemble mode after work days now! Block got bored so I could assign a measurement to how much I wanted the deck decked. I want to end up with a perfect .039 piston to head clearanc. I made the pistons a little low so I could deck and get get it perfect. Getting closer!

Well, I ran out of Argon, thus the push to paint. I wish I had more time to paint the hood and fix that fender prior to BBQ, but I start up school on monday.. Unlike last year, Kate is not going to Europe 2 weeks before the event, so I had better make a more rational goal this year. A motor build, header and painted engine bay is probably enough to chew on for a while.

Looking good Hank. Too bad it won't be ready for September 7th's track day. I do want to get on the dyno with you if you plan on doing that before BBQ.

I will try and get it on the dyno the week before battleborn. I'll keep you in the loop.

You may get recruitment to come rewire my iic with nice heatshielding and such. I got new connectors and pins coming for a tidy up project.

I arrived a few hours early to the shop today so I could install a few things before I started to weld. Got the rack in, the pedals hooked up, the vacuum assist in along with the new master cylinder and brand new res on top(thanks eBay!). Hopefully after work I can bend new brake lines and stick the subframe and running gear back in.

Oh and I am happy about my new rack. I got a rebuilt one from jorgen, and it came as a 3 turns lock to lock vs 3.5 of the old unit. I am reducing mine 1.5:1 so the nrw rack should be slightly faster at a final of 2 turns lock to lock.
