I've got mixed feelings - I liked the old no-nonsense version too. Although it did have a couple of nasty bugs.

The thing that bums me out the most is the loss of all the old ads... among other things, they served as a good reference for figuring out how much parts are worth!

It's weird I had to get a new account, I think it's much easier to navigate tho.

I agree with Elaw though, the old listings did help to price things.

I think the problem is that everyone is trying to "modernize" the look.
Example the new paypal....... or google toolbar, google map

The server's old hd died and Dan took the opportunity to lower his maintenance with the new interface..( there was alot of stuff that had to be managed in background) unfortunately the only full backup of marketplace was a year old, so he started clean). Remember, he does for free with no ads...
