I have aspirations to finish the metal work, then make a plug, and make myself a carbon one....but that wouldn't be any time soon...

Reminds me of the 67-72 Chevy truck hoods a little.

Looks better in your case though :)

Got my block back from the machine shop, in the process of cleaning it up for paint, and installing the rest of the components.... Pics to follow.

Nice choice in color!

my original MC motor was a MOPAR big block Orange :)

Too bad there was a ring lip in the bores and rendered the block useless (for maintaining stock pistons vs. going aftermarket).

Making some progress, tomorrow I'm picking up a destroyed ported head, to use as a template for porting mine.

Nice work. I do have another head that I thought was toast but there was no smacky smacky after all. The crank broke at #4 rod, not the main, so everything was fine.

And also a spare 1.8t pan and oil pickup if you ever break that pan :)

That is going to be a lot of torque for a little 4K. My old 4k seriously moved with just an MC1 and K26

ImageI didn't like the way the oil cap stuck up on the alh valve cover so I cut it off and welded one from a 1.8t on.
