I swapped sport seats into my v8, the drivers seat heater doesn't work on the new seats. The heater works in the comfort, can it be swapped from one to the other? I've never taken one of these covers off is it possible?
Thanks for any input.

Re: Seat heater question
If you like hog rings go for it. It is very labor intensive work.
Re: Seat heater question
I realize it wouldn't be easy, my major concern is whether or not the heater can be removed or if its integrated into the foam some how.

Re: Seat heater question
I think it is glued to the foam but removable. At least on the urs cars it is.

you are welcome.
Good luck!

Re: Seat heater question
If both the seat back and bottom heaters dont work then it might be the relay or switch or something other than the element. Supposedly you can find the break/burnt spot in the seat eater element wire and solder in a jumper. That might be easier trying to move the comfort seat heater element over to the sport seat. I bet you will find the comfort seat element is much wider than the sport seat element.

They come out pretty easily, putting everything back together on the sport seat may be a challenge though.
