Update (a bit delayed)! Car is here as of 2/3/2015. I woke up to a text message with this image:

Over to the dealership:

And off I go! Immediately to my house to swap out the wheels for winter tires with this one shot in between:

Tires/wheels on (borrowed from the Avant):

One with Jackie's new car too (2015 A3 TDI):

Windows tinted (Suntek CXP 35%):

Headlights tinted at the same time. I asked for the lightest tint (for protection) available and this was his "light". It's far too dark and has already been removed:

That is all for now. The car is excellent too. The weather has been far too shitty to really test it though.

Amazing how good those Avus wheels look on the car.

Did you have to use a hub adapter, I thought b8+ went with 66.6 centre bore...

I imagine 18" avuses would look even better. They are indeed quite fitting. The angles work with the boxy shapes of the older cars and the angular shapes of the new ones!

The stock wheels for the s3 are great also.

I'd love a set of B6 Avus wheels or even some D2 S8 Avus wheels. I'll buy a set eventually. I always keep my fellers out for a set.

The S3 is basically a golf which still uses 57.1.
