AEB coil dwell time insufficient for 4 pin D coils?

My stock AEB coils are on the way out, IMO. I have more and more mini misfires.
I have a set of 06A 905 115 D coils and have ordered connectors with pigtails to rewire.

Anybody know for sure that my spark will be worse with the D coils due to lower dwell time?
