I can't see the bottom of your post on my android. Are you only referring to using VEMSdisplay with an ipad? I tried with several usb BT dongles and never succeeded in making it work with my laptop and VEMStune :(

Sounds like you're looking for an in-dash solution? I have an ebay vent mount on the top center console vents that points towards me. I have an anti glare screen protector on it but sometimes I still can't read the gauges. That's all I can offer on that.
