New Option - Complete Re Man Hot Rod Engines

Post by FRP »

Just wanted to let folks know I have purchased a number of AAN cylinder heads, cranks and blocks and low wear high quality oil pumps. None of these items are left in the Audi repair parts networks.

I intend to build up a couple of 700 HP capable 3/4 block and head assemblies with the usual hardware upgrades and port work, I will offer them without cams so the customer can use 7A's or work with me on larger Cat grinds for higher power levels. Factory AAN cams will also be available

This option will allow folks to achieve a significantly reduced downtime on engine replacement and upgrade. I have not figured out pricing yet but will in the coming weeks. I will offer these with or without a core engine.

I also have a number of really solid factory crank dampers with no cracking in the elastomer ring.

Should have the first engine ready in Jan 16

Cheers.

This sounds like something I'm interested in! Need to start stashing funds. Keep us posted on pricing, I'm not in a rush. Thanks Jeff!

What a great idea! Lots of people only intend to do a swap, or mild build, but... while they're in there, they opt for this and that and the other thing at significant increase in cost and downtime.

Bravo!
