Thought someone might find this useful... I needed to do the crank pulley torque dance, and came up with this tool.... found the fitting at the local ACE for about $8 - at little hack saw work...
That's a great idea, glad it worked out for you. I have an assortment of similar fittings that I use for all sorts of stuff but mainly pressing in and out bushings.
we have a replica coming out soon for the NLA 2084 tool. you need to use a 7a style snub bracket (which bolts up easy on the AAN) but it works great. pricing around $100. they are off at powdercoat. this pic is just tack welded:
