B3 ignition system (stage1 20vt EFI ignition)

Post by DE80q »

I have upgraded from my MS2 system running off dizzy triggering to MS3X which uses a 60-2 wheel and CPS. I no longer need these, so thought it might be a good idea to offer them for sale.

What I have here is a 5 window distributor from an NG engine. Mileage is unknown on this, but it is in great shape and works perfectly. Also, the connector is not broken at all.

The cap on this is a Bosch piece with no more than 8k mes on it. The rotor is also a Bosch unit that is the correct narrow tip rotor from a 3b with no more than 1k miles on it. The wires are OEM VW/Audi with same mileage as the cap.

The coil is a nearly new Beru unit with maybe 1k miles on it. This will include the proper pigtail connector.

This is a great setup for anyone just starting a 20vt EFI build, or anyone needing needing good parts for their B3. I'm looking to get $200 shipped for these items.

Thanks or looking

Why go fuel only? you would still end up having to find a chip to improve the timing.

I was offered a setup with an older fuel setup, that includes a mac14 ecu that has a switchable timing between pump and race(how the guy that has it put it) So I assume like a daily driving ignition setup and a full power setup. Whole thing including the needed sensors(Minus FPR, fuel rail and fuel injectors) for $200 so gonna start out with fuel only and see how I like it.

Yeah; 200 plis shipping, 300 for fuel system and then install and tune for fuel.should be pretty good for efi and reliable. Good for a nice mild setup I think hoping I can achieve as close to 300 whp as possible

good luck with that. I will be hoping for about 350WHP with my HY35 setup. I don't remember the limit of the K24, but I know its not that high, without e85 or water meth injection.
