D2 a8 O1E 6 speed swap

Well the transmission on my 2000 facelift d2 finally gave up the ghost after 240k...not bad for an original slushbox. Score one for fluid changes extending the life! So Im now embarking on an o1e 6 speed manual swap. The car has been really taken care of and drove like new before disaster struck! I have already sourced a transmission from an a6 2.7t and its getting rebuilt as I write this.

Things I need -

- S8 manual driveshaft - (Extending my driveshaft +4.5")
- s8 manual axles - (I have read of people using a spacer instead but not sure what axles they used.)
- s8 pedal box - (or Modifying my current pedalbox)
- I was told I will need a ecu and harness from a later d2 with 7.1.1 mototronic (mine has the earlier 7.1)
- Transmission mounts? - need assistance here - will the arms on the o1e I have work?
- linkage for o1e needs to be lengthened?
- s8 manual shifter?
