I was pickin up what you were puttin down ;)

Dropped off the Ohlins today, looks like one needs a shaft because of a decent pit near the end  Not thrilled but at least you can just order a shaft (not quite as much as a whole Bilstein Sport!!). Hopefully no additional surprises to impact the time and money budgets :drive:

Just to make sure I'm not missing anything, is there a formal sign up anywhere yet? I need to make some kind of commitment to this.

Sean and I were talking about the event today, I'm sure he'll post something soon. He's been out of town for nearly the entirety of the last month.

Hoping to have my car running within 3 weeks before my parents come to visit. Still stressing even though I know I have the backup of the CGT.

Going to be upgrading to an e85 tune while I'm there. :D

Anyone want some 550 cc injectors? Make me an offer.

Mine is currently off for paint. I have been working through several bugs at this time, I will most likely will back up and running just in time for the event. I won't be at full potential though due to time constraints. :drunk:

The 1.8t 90qs is alive! Now to get it all buttoned up since there's no exhaust or intake plumbing still, but at least the wiring is correct.

I don't think we are getting a block rate. You basically had to book it at the time Sean posted it to get it at that rate. I missed out on the Alexis too since I was waiting on my buddy to decide if he was going. I think we're going to stay across the street at the Red Roof Inn, which as rates for ~$100/night

Shit. Yeah I saw the price when Sean posted it and somehow procrastinated, now it's way up there in price. We'll try for red roof too.

My car is running so well, I thought I would help fine tune Phil's car now that Iroz has finished everything. Started out of the gate with a very dead battery. Image

It made it into the garage. First order is to troubleshoot the trigger error with this 034 aluminum flywheel. The 60-2 tone ring is not cooperating. Can't quite get the sensor close enough. Might have to switch back to Audi trigger. Image

Car is back on the ground and drove to work today. Changed rear diff and a bunch of other little bullshit. Got locks working, odometer working etc. God damn drivetrain noise is still there, I replaced the hanger bearing when I did the 01e swap, but I used some random replacement bearing that I had, (maybe the 034 one?). I think that might be howling at 70mph. Going to get one of these http://provenforce.com/center_bearing/a ... aring.html

I've hear these are good, hopefully that cures the strange howl I have. If not, Its "run what you brung time". Turn up the radio and hammer down.
