

Bough the mounts a month ago. Got in on the pre-production sale. Really happy over all with them. Finished the install tonight and took the car for a test spin.
When I went to install them I will say that the stock 8mm Allen bolt that comes on the car is to long for these mounts. I had to get new bolts. I went with an M10x30. Stock length is 35 and it was bottoming out in the mount and I could not get it tight.
I tried an M10x25 which fit but seemed a bit small and I could fit the 30 length bolt in with a small washer as well.
The first spin around the block was not great. Had a rubbing sound and bad vibration.
Got to the hwy and let her loose, anything over 120kmh was rough bad wobble. Went back to the drawing board. Turns out that these mounts MAY raise your transmission by 1/4inch. This caused my drive shaft to just make contact with the heat shield between the shaft and the exhaust. Took a pry bay and solved that pretty quick.
Took it out for another test drive and it’s all good. I did drive faster then I normally do to test the car and see if I had anymore wobble or sound, it all went away and was solid. I was able to go above 120kmh (hwy speed) and the car felt good. Shifts at red line were solid and quick. No thunking.
Fitment: 9/10 Fitment is perfect, the design is completely different then stock or 034 but I think this design will prove to be a better design long term and theses mounts should not wear out like stock or 034 can. The only downside to fitment was the 8mm Allen bolt did not fit, as mentioned use an M10x30 with a washer and you will be good.
Quality: 10/10 the quality is amazing. Solid steel powder coated to any color you want. Poly mounts in a verity of grades and 10.9 grade mounting bolt. Welds are really good as well, dropped it a couple times and not even a chip. This mount feels really solid.
Design: 10/10 the design is completely different from OEM. The poly mount sits on the sub frame and the bolt goes through the transmission bracket in to the steel side of the mount. Much better than the OEM design where the bolt goes into rubber that floats in the middle of the mount.
Driveability: 9/10 you will notice a lot more vibrations with this mount, mainly at idle is where I fell it. If vibrations are not your think I’d consider a softer poly on the mount. I went with 90a for mine. You will hear more noises as well in the car, but I also had my stereo off during testing, but you may hear some transmission whine or engine rpm change. Shifting has been greatly affected in a positive way. The shifts are a lot easier and it no longer bucks or clunks during hard shifting. Nice quick shifts now.
Overall, this is a great buy and a great alterative to OEM or 034 mounts. I have other mounts from HPR that will be installed soon and I will do another review much like this one.
