Looks great, see you in a week!
Probably too late now, but check out the website Furkot. I use that to plan all my road trips. No mobile app, but a good mobile site that allows offline access and exporting your trip.

Gosh I want this car. Good luck Dana, I'm sure you'll be fine with all your prep! This kind of trip is something I've been thinking of/dreaming about for a very long time as well. Enjoy it

Winning.
Interested to see what kind of mileage mine gets with the 1.8T and B5 V6 01A trans (higher gearing over the 1.8T trans or B4 V6; almost 01E 5th). I'm sure it'll be better than the 20mpg I got with the (crappy running) V8. Gotta fix my odometer gear that decided to stop working after 50 miles...

I'm really liking the oil cooler. I am curious how it performs to keep the oil temp down and if it's loud. I definitely want to hear how it goes cross country.

Oil cooler is awesome. Fans can be heard at stoplights, but are not bad at all.

Made it to Bryce Canyon in Utah, going to hike here a few days. Utah is insane. Totally mind blowing. I know the people that live out here are used to it, but the epicness of i70 across Utah was unreal. Pictures can't do it justice. I'll post some when I get home.

I was just in Utah. It snowed in the mountains on Sunday night. Went from being nice on Sunday during the day, to cold on Monday.

Go do the Angel's Landing hike at Zion (if you aren't afraid of heights and sure footed) . I did it last year on the way back from BBQ and it was amazing. Probably my favorite (and scariest) hike so far.
