Vacuum setup

Post by sharkbait »

I'm finally getting around to working on my car again and I'm trying to set up the vacuum. The car is a CQ that basically has a 3b in it running off of VEMS.
I have a short runner from Iroz, which has 1 3/8 port, 3 1/8th ports.
Aftermarket N75 valve.
Stock wastegate and stock brake booster.
Tial BOV aftermarket FPR.

With my limited knowledge of turbo cars and no idea how their vacuum works, I know the wastegate(big banjo bolt) goes to the n75 valve.
The Tial bov, brake booster,VEMS, fpr, and n75 valve all connect to a vacuum source.

I'm not 100% sure where to go from here. Should I use a vacuum manifold to supply everything? Do I need some sort of check valve between vacuum sources?

There is no vacuum source for the N75. One side connects to compressor pressure, the other to wastegate, third to atmosphere.
Google the diagram.

Other than that, a check valve between brake canister and manifold would be a good idea.
I would not use a vacuum manifold for BOV, FPR and MAP signal to VEMS. Better to give them each a separate nipple on the IM.

the diagram for the n75 valve had just said "pressure input" so I wasn't real sure.
So best bet would be brake booster to the large portion on the intake with a check valve.
and the rest to the remaining 3 ports on the intake.
Thanks for the input here.
