agreed,vt10vt wrote:WHAT?! CONGRATS DAVE! That is awesome. Having your own garage is the single best tool you can have for a project car. Careful not to let the driveway get too full thoughDE80q wrote: Oh, I'm also in contract to buy a house, with closing set for the 16th! It will be strange to have a garage of my own to work in!

The low light pic does it a lot of justice. It's pretty straight, but has definitely had a respray at some point. The interior was swapped from a 90, so it has grey leather now. The engine is the standard NG from the year, so it has the less desirable cam, and slightly less power. It also is quite low on compression, or so I am told. It might be an easy fix, or it might be a swap candidate. I have access to a complete 7A engine, harness and ECU, so who knows...PRY4SNO wrote:Nice!! Body and paint look to be in good shape.
Which engine?
Since I already have a hot rod in the Cq, I intend to make my 80q into a winter beater/commuter car that will challenge and surprise some modern sports cars. For less than $5k, total. With the amount of spare parts I've accumulated over the years (AANs, 01Es, etc) it shouldn't be too difficult to pull off! Finding the time will be the biggest challenge, lol.

Thanks, the filter they used was very flattering haha.Aktapod wrote:Car looks great man! Looks like it'll be a riot running the Mystery Turbo haha
