Can we get the search to be useful? Nearly every time I try and search something it tells me my words are too short or too common.

Can we get the search to be useful? Nearly every time I try and search something it tells me my words are too short or too common.

Increased common word threshold and decreased minimum character search to 2 characters... that should help.

There are much newer versions of this software that we should upgrade to, but the upgrade is not that easy, so I'm not sure when/if we'll get around to that.

I was thinking more like other forums that have a marker show up (return arrow or something) on the thread itself - not a fan of having to monitor a separate page just to see what I’ve posted in.

I think there is one there already. It's a subtle asterisk on the top right corner of the icon to the left of the thread title.
