Yeah, from what I understand the YT tickets are easy enough to beat. It would definitely suck to have to go through the hassle.

blurring is easy in final cut pro, ill see if i can get creative and superimpose someone elses face on there.

on a side note, there isnt a speedo shot in there, its obviously racing, but there isnt a speed shown. wouldnt that be worse?

Bikes have terrible aerodynamics because of the proportional frontal area compared to cars, even when compared to boxes like ours. With identical power to weight ratios, 120mph is where cars start to walk away. If the guy sucks at riding, you can get them from a standstill but having a 100mph 1st is hard yo beat with a car.

Looks good buddy, up the boost or add more lightness. My urq is at 2600 lbs, even with an extra cylinder. I can get gsxr1000s anywhere at 600whp

Bikes at altitude start with a disadvantage too (unless turbo).

I dont want to just keep making excuses, but I doubt racing up a hill helped me any. And we made 200whp with 10 more psi boost on the dyno from the first pull. So the math tells me that's 20hp/psi we were picking up when the turbo really got into it's efficiency range. 34 to 38 psi is about another 80whp. Another 80whp, at least in my opinion (and perhaps not racing up a hill) would put me damn near door to door with that thing.

From a dig, I feel as if Id have the hit. The front end of that thing doesn't stay down, as you can see in the vid. Although it does have a first gear that'll do over 100mph, a dig would be interested to say the least.

went to the track for the first time today.

got four runs in. street tires. full weight 15 gallon cell full of e85 and myself, i weigh about 165. 2888.

best et was an 11.11@133.08

fastest mph was an 11.8@136.80

had fun, got to learn how to drag race because i have never before. my best 60ft time was an awful 1.72, i was trying to take it easy on the axles, and really was pushing for 10s with street tires, the MPH is there, i just need to make all the pieces come together in the end. shifting was awful as well, i hammered the limited a few times on some passes due to having the smallest shift light ever, but it was fun, i got second place in the Q8 bracket at fall show and go, got a trophy, got some moneys, had fun, nothing broke.

videos uploading soon.

zerb wrote:got to run my buddies gsxr 1000 today, up a nice hill at lol. only ran 34psi, noticed later on in the logs that the egt sensor for the ecu was getting a choppy signal and thus limiting the boost controller duty cycle, no biggie we can go again. from a dig next time too. enjoy.

thats right by peoplesII huh?

and note that that bike, with a good rider will trap 141-143 from a dig.

my friend went 9.96 @ 143 on his strapped, and slip on 08 gsxr-1000.

passes go from outside view, then inside view.

last pass i blew my load early, the other guy double bulbed me, i didn't even light my bulbs, and i just left, lol. no time, it was awful anyway, it felt/sounds like, the clutch was slipping 3-4th gear
