Resistance is futile. The force is strong with this one.

The reality is is that it does need rods with the 30R and 25psi. Rigjt now I hit 20 psi and 340whp. The 30r comes on so strong rods are coming through the block one of these days if I'm not careful.

Yes indeed the force is strong with this one, but it has not always been so. Early in his training, before he was allowed to wield the power of the lightsaber called TIG, he was more concerned with paint color, dvd, tunes and other low priority items. It got to the point that these diversions were given priority over a working 2nd gear, 100k timing belt, brakes, suspension, and even.....are you ready....HORSE POWER!!

May he live long and wield the force with power, integrity, and compassion for those of us with less than 200hp. :D

As you know, the force can be used for either good or bad. It all depends on ones perspective I suppose. There is nothing wrong with nice VS function. Personally I think a well executed form of function is where it's at, but there are those that would put luxury out front. I think that when it gets to the point that a hybrid is good because it serves the purpose of getting you there and there was no enjoyment in the process.......That is the dark side!!

We've turned Ed's project thread into a "force" discussion.

Is it done yet Ed??

Is this picture backwards?

AFAIK, the picture is unmodified. The parts in the pic are not sitting the way you'd install them.

I figured it out. The wastegate was throwing me.

Just bolting that to your 034 7AT??

I am getting that whole assembly from Loxrider (Chris) and bolting it to the 7a in my 1991, with a few other parts. Not shooting for the moon so the rods and pistons should be fine.

I think 300awhp is reasonable with E85. I have a feeling that I could find the rod limit before the piston limit but I'd rather not kill a good engine (at least until I have another built).
