You can add catch pins if you want, but there is provision for using the stock spring loaded lock pins and safety catch.
I use a prop rod, not the gas strut. There is no bracket for the stock strut. I did mention this a few times.

just a heads up to buyers that the container has been on x-ray hold for the last week... its in LA at the port, but hasn't been released yet. I'll keep everyone posted.

gonna be down to the wire for them being here for friday. there was such a long delay while the hoods were on x-ray hold that the estimated date moved way back. I'm trying to get them for tomorrow but currently the delivery company is saying Monday. I'm going to call them this morning and see what I can do.

This is incredible. I was under the impression they confirmed delivery Friday.

They made it today, I unpacked the crate and everything arrived perfect. Thanks!

Chris, I would appreciate the issues with the hoods be delt with on your thread and not my thread to sell my car.

Yes, sir. You are right. Keep in mind these are all hand made. Getting fabric like this to be even over such a large area is very difficult.

Good to see you here. There is someone on the FB group who MIGHT make a C4 CF hood. I doubt it will happen though. I was about 5 years too late with my hoods.

That fb group is something else!

They can't be that bad

I can no longer help with that Chris. I sold and dropped it off for shipping thursday. Only because I did not like the way it clashed with my black paint and not because of the flaw mine had. I felt it was minimal. I also needed the funds for other projects.

I'll post some pics... when mine arrives.

I'm actually excited about raw CF on black, hope it doesn't "clash" too badly!

It's going on the car soon, damn engine swap takes priority.

Thanks for the comments guys. I just felt it was strange that nearly a year after shipment, there has been nothing.

I still have 5 left for sale. I have taken one of the slightly damaged ones and put it on my own B4.

Mine's sitting in storage since the car hasn't moved in 3yrs or so. I'll probably end up painting mine, even though I was hoping not to since I think it would look good on my black car. Maybe once it's on the car I won't notice the defects and just run it as is.

There's a guy on Facebook, (Andy Cowan I think) that has one at Hank's in Vegas that he wants to sell.

Yes, but if you only want one, try to get the one at Hank's.

For the record, I still have 3 undamaged ones and 2 slightly damaged ones. The damaged ones go for half price.
Repair would be quite cheap.

the one at hank's shop is $1300...
