Heh, that is a pretty funny little wind screen. Better yet, get an external mic. I HATE the way the stupid GoPro mic processes noise. It is just painful to listen to.

I've got an external dual mic (Sony) and a rather spendy nice furry windscreen. the only problem is the adapter. I just got a full refund back from the company i got it from so i'll be purchasing the GoPro brand name one to make sure it works then instaquality sound.

I don't understand why you have to use an adapter. Is the mic not a 3.5mm jack?

The GP Hero 3 doesn't have a 3.5mm jack, so you just use the usb port.

Ben laid the SMACK DOWN on a Bullet Mustang last night, with intake, exhaust, and ECU flash.

No video. :/ Doug messed it up hahaha. Needless to say, even with my car full of passengers; it (the Mustang) didn't stand a chance.

Small update:
BUT first and foremost, I just wanted to say I am really loving how this new forum is working out. The layout, flexibility, all of it. I am really enjoying it! Thanks Hank, Ed and whomever else made this happen! Thus far, this is the BEST forum I've been apart of, good guys with lots of knowledge! I am really looking forward to spending many hours in the future hanging out in this place. Also, I just wanted to say thank you for all the knowledge and help you all have given me to make Oceanic happen. These past few months have been pretty unreal, and honestly, even though this may sound stupid, getting this far with Oceanic has been a bigger deal to me than my upcoming graduation. Anyways, enough of that, on to the update....
A few weeks ago I picked up a knock phone from Marc, so that is awaiting install. I still need to figure out why I am getting boost oscillation along with solving my top end trigger errors. Another thing I have yet to address is cold drivability. I need to snag a log of it, but any real hard throttle (>80%) and the ecu will shut off. I can cycle the key and it will bumpstart to life, I am just at a bit of a loss why it's doing that. I my be getting phantom triggers when cold, but I am not 100% sure on that yet.
I also have been thinking about Phase 2 of Oceanic now that I have gotten the 5857. This is the order of business before phase 2 gets to happen though... so here is phase 1.5 haha...
-Deal with Boost Ossilation
-Deal with Top end Trigger errors
-Solve cold run cut-out
-Set up some kind of cable E-brake
-Pick up a beefier clutch
-Install an EGT sensor
-Install 7A Cams
-Max out the H1C/K26 and hit up a dyno
Here is the Phase 2 list-PTE5857 (For boost
)
-Hank Header/DP
-Water Meth
-Stainless Valves
-Rework AWIC with a larger heat exchanger and pump
-Install Adjustable coil-overs
-Rework sway-bars
-Go 01E w/ torsion rear diff
-Rework fenders so that I can fit 245s and paint it up
-MR2 PS pump
I am sure I will think of more as time goes along, but this is it for now. If you guys have any suggestions, I'm all ears! I would love to see dailyable 500whp with the Water/Meth set up.

Hahaha we really don't.

Doug and I seriously live in the sticks, so when it does go down, we head go out on some random paved farm road where we don't have to worry about anything. I am super paranoid as it is where I have my class B CDL, I can't afford, nor will I risk loosing my licence.

Smart man. Fooling around on streets isnt worth losing the privilege of driving the cool car you built

. Track events ftw.
Car is looking extremely tasty, keep the updates coming!

So today I knocked out a few things, I finally fixed my sunroof visor so it's now all nice and quiet, worked on VEMS grounds trying to minimize my trigger errors; of which, I was partially successful at. My top end trigger errors are almost completely gone.

I also installed my knock phone, wired in the oil temp sender (gauge now works), properly installed the jockey box to fix the door rattle and lastly messed around with the tune trying to get rid of a nasty miss in 5th under load @ about 3000 rpms. I have had no success with that yet.
Anyways, that's about it for now...
here is a token photo I took today while out and about.

Thanks guys!!!

OH one other thing to add. I dented my hood with the intake mani. :( EVEN with a poly front snubber and track density mounts the dang intake still smacked my hood. Grrr I don't know how a lot of guys run without the front snub.

Maybe the 034 mounts broke

I have seen zero engine movement with alum/delrin mounts from Hank.

Yeah, take a look at the mounts Ben, they are hard to spot visually that they broke, but when they do, you start getting dents.
