Took my sister, who's husband is a preacher, for a ride. Took some corners and then showed her launch control. Got her to say fuck. Good times were had by all.

Edit: oh, did I mention my sister(s) were here visiting because I had (Sarah had) a new baby boy! No name yet and born at home in water like the other two. Little bugger just nurses, poops, and sleeps! Awesome baby so far, very much like my firstborn. Trying to enjoy time with the new addition so not much car stuff going on.

Do not give that poor kid a ride in your car or he'll end up with FAS (Fetal Audi Syndrome)

Hooked up the knock sensor, plugged it into the aux-in in the stereo for now, it's so awesome listening to the engine! I'm gonna have to practice listening for knock, it's pretty noisy. Can I just sit at idle and add timing until I can hear it to get an idea what it sounds like?

Also investigated some suspension noises and re-balanced my wheels. I repacked the driveshaft/rear dif CV and the u joint. Also tied off the exhaust limiting its movement because it was banging on the diff. No more noises! The car is really getting dialed in. I can't wait to turn up the boost a little more...

if its dialed in, price goes up

If it doesn't sell I'm stripping the interior this winter.

Vagkraft was pretty fun. Launch control is always a hit. Lots of comments on the car in the couple hours I had it in the show for, especially on the car seats and racing seats, lol.

On the way home I did a little boost tuning and am now running 28psi and tapering from there, down to about 24-25psi. I really wish I could have put it on the dyno at higher boost, holy crap does it ever wake up above 25psi. I would put money on ~400whp right now.

There's a set of 17" esm wheels on motorgeek and I think I want them. Anyone looking for 16" 4x108 Borbets?
