No, I want to design one in CAD...but I haven't had the time and when I have had it, it always slips my mind.

You sticking with the 5 pot? I thought you wanted to throw a 1.8t in there...

There is one post on here of a badass manifold...almost equal length

I am sticking with the 5 cylinder because of the picture above and I will be able to keep all the stock accessories. My goal is a 300-350Whp street car with Quattro... I will check out the pics....Goddnight!!!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got off of the phone with the ebay seller for the STR manifolds...

He said they will have the T3 ones back in stock in 2-3 weeks, and that I should call around then.

Just for my records and for everyone else's reference, here is the phone number for info on the STR manifolds :D :D :D

So how does the STR manifold compare to other manifolds like the stock, rs2, and 7at IWG? Any idea what kind of power level can you get out of those? I'm curious cause the price is definitely right if its even slightly better than the stocker. :o

I'd be in on that if we could get the people together for it. I feel like I would be ok shelling out the extra grip for the 034 stamp of approval.

DEAR 034: I, and I'm sure I speak for all of us here, would absolutely love to buy a t3 manifold with ext. wg provisions for the price of $3-400 if you made one. Basically the 7a turbo one or one just like the STR piece. I'm sure if you did that, 10-20 people would sign up and pay for one up front. If that doesn't happen, then I'm sorry but my business has to go somewhere else.

Just a little suggestion and wishful thinking.

OK I'm up for the challenge!

From my source, they make VERY good power...AKA in the 500hp range.

I'm down to support 034 now that the above statement has been made though...

Just curious; why would you switch from the 44mm to the 38mm? The 44mm will give you better boost control over a big turbo.

I dont want to...but the new manifold from 034 wont accept the 44 mm gate as they will be making it with a flange for a 38mm tial...not for a 44 :(

youd only put sooo big or a turbo on the cast log manifold right?

shouldnt the 38mm have no prob supporting that size turbo?

if he was going to go 800whp than he would have the tube mani and mega WG already, rather than later

If they are making it for you, why not have them put a flange on it for the 44mm? Or have them switch it. I have them switch mine from stock Audi to the Tial 44mm V-band.

I do not think that they have total say becuse Javad intends to make the design good for a wide market. If it was fabricated things would be different.

Oh, it's a cast manifold? I thought it was a tubular. My mistake.

Yeah, cast. Clears a lot up huh? ;)

One day I'll go with a custom tubular mani and big ole' wastegate and shoot for the sky.

I'm taking it in steps though. This little build should hold me over for a good while. I think the car will be quite fun with 350-400 and then maybe 500 later on...basically I want to have as much fun as I possibly can on the stock tranny ;)

on that note, people have been scaring me about the stock fuel pump. Its fine for 3 bar on a big set of injectors right? I'm considering losing the 440s for something bigger I guess... :/

so yeah, check my fs thread for

3b head
good UFO brakes
tial 44mm (maybe sold to hank?)
5 brand new 440 cc injectors
034 coil bracket
etc....

good prices on everything! ;)

Just trying to move some stuff so I can get the ball rolling

Dang so I sold my short block, my brakes, my wastegate (one way or another), and my H1C as long as I can get an Hx35 to replace it with with a 12cm housing.

Now just need to get rid of the head, injectors, and coil bracket, and I'll be in the right spot to get this biotch rollin. Also paid in full for the manifold tonight.

**edit** injectors sold too :)

So...erm......

I had to pull the trigger

bought ONE seat and a gaming base. I will be utilizing this in the 200 along with another one of these later on. I'll be using it as a gaming chair until I figure out some mounts for the 200...and until I get a second one lol. I don't want to be the cheap bastard that runs just one "sport" seat and one stock one. Its gray and black suede with leather wear patches...should match the rest of the car pretty nicely. If not, then the rest of the car will be made to match.

Anyone know if any of the mounts from Corbeau will work? If not, anyone have a design for the brackets that I'll need?

Also, any harness recommendations? I'd love to have a cage in the car and mount some that way, but thats not an option right now obviously.
