Sure! I can even do better then that.

I trimmed the hood to enable the use of hood pins, and a spacers on my camber plates to get more travel and not hit the hood. I wish my head would not have been in my butt and I could have bought 4" steep hemispheres and welded them in like the old factory group B cars used to have.

Here I am in a picture with the D/A. I counted a couple hours under 70 hours so far since that fateful day of applying striper. David probably has nother 35 hours on that... That shirt had it's last day. My wife hates it. She says it makes me look like a little boy. I kindof agree I guess.

I squirted paint on everything last night, but miscalculated clear.. Why Dupont sells their Chrome series in gallon clears and quart activators, then calls for a 3:1 ratio is beyond me. Did they not get the memo that there are not 3 quarts in a gallon :wtf:

 But Janis, tell us how you really feel!! I'm starting to warm up to red, but it still isn't my favorite.

I, personally, probably won't ever have another red car. A 1991 VW GLI 16V was the only red car I've owned.

But, who can argue that this combo doesn't look bad a$$???

I like red when properly done. I think this car will be no exception. Just needs good wheels and stance to go with it.

I've had four Tornado Red cars. '88 90, '90 CQ, '90 V8q, '99.5 Jetta. Other than the paint fade on all but the CQ (I had it painted and cleared), I love the color. Mars and Laser are too orange for me.

Is that really your car, Hank?!?!
Did Darin really sell his Lago??

What are you guys all drinking out there?? I might need to pack my trunk full of bottled water lest I come back home after the weekend and want to convert my car to twin engine ABZ or something....

I thought tackling a full suspension / coil over project was pretty modest and optimistic in the month I gave myself to do it. These guys are something else all together lol

I'm just trying to get my sunroof to seal!

Sad thing is that may be the toughest project..... :-)

Not that the car doesn't have quite a few "needs".

Craig, I hope you realize that your 84 is what swayed my choice to go red. I had it as my back ground for a couple of weeks, and flip flopped from ibis white to a german silver and finally the red. I have always wanted a red car.

I hope that smoked tails with white wheels will complete the package.

Anybody have any BTDT for putting the front windscreen back in without cracking it? I got a new seal...

The last one is the one I am excited about. Those are 17x8 wheels with 245-40 rubber on 42mm offset wheels. By the look of it, the perfect offset with a 8.5" wheel could yield 255s. I could probably get 275s in the rear, but the fronts will only take 255s for now unless I rotate the arms in.
