Don't forget to be careful about those injectors man. Consider double stacking orings at the least. Or just don't get into lots of boost. Just be careful till the new hats are done!

Thanks guys! I will be. Remember, I'm also running an EFIxpress fuel rail so they may fit a bit different than what other guys are experiencing. Either way, I'm stoked! I'd like to throw a big thank you out to Chris too. You rock man!

Not yet, I only got started about an hour ago. Thus far I have the injectors and VC installed. Just gotta take care of the T-Belt now. Fingers seriously crossed that I didn't kill valves when the cam gear broke. :)

I agree. I'll drink one for you if you killed valves. LOL

Ok, before videos happen I need to bleed the AWIC, reassemble and tidy up some wiring and fix a leaky coolant hose. DAMN I'm so happy right now!

HAHA I know, I know. I do have one vid the G/F took, but it's not uploaded yet. I just spent the last few hours trying to get a 1/2 decent working tune with no to little success thus far. I just need to take a break tonight and tackle it more later on. I will say this though, I am EXTREMELY happy to have this thing running again. :D

Buddy, I'm dying here. I need 20vt4kq redline boost turbo spool action video.

I couldn't even start my car this morning because I didn't have the laptop to reset req_fuel.

What's going on with the tune? I'd be happy to look at a log

LOL I have to do the exact same thing to mine right now. LOL My Req_fuel is 26 but it only will start if I have it set to 34. Grrr. Also, It keeps trying to lean way out. So, I'm going to try and scale up Marc's tune that he did for me on the 630cc injectors.

26!? 34?! dude... your req fuel should be like 2.3 or something. That's why it's leaning out so hard. What, you got 50cc injectors in there? lol

2200 cc engine / 5 injectors / 1275 (?)cc injectors X 6.49 and then take 75% of that. Taken from here.

LOL. Forgot my decimal point. 2.6 is what mine is at.

(2226/5/1135) * 6.49 = 2.54 so about 2.6. :P

EDIT: Pulled from the VEMS help section:

"REQ_Fuel = (D/N/I) * 6.49

Why are you taking only about 75% of that value?

Okay phew. That's much different, lol. Is your cranking enrichment off or something and that's why it's not starting?

Ya, I just ran out of time to update everything. So, hopefully I will get some time after work this week to hammer the bugs out.

Just saw your edit.

Marc suggests 75% to allow a more fine tuning of the VE table

I also have a tune that I wrote for those exact injectors. It'd be a decent starting point at least.

I had to start from scratch on mine, but it's pretty robust as it stands right now... I'm willing to help as well...
