speaking of fuel rails, they just arrived :) I'll hold off on the photos until the rest of the parts arrive. Definitely over-doing the fuel system on the car so I wont have to worry about it anymore:

dual 1/2" NPT weld fittings for the stock tank for a gravity drain for under-car pumps.
dual 044 fuel pumps
speedflow billet metric to AN check valves
Y-block from -8 pump outlets to -10 main feed line
custom fuel rails, -8 ORB o-ring seal fittings.

I suspect I shouldn't have any more issues with falling fuel pressure ;)

Marc, why haven't you just run a Weldon pump? -12 in, -10 out, single pump, done. We use the 2345A at work, pushes something like 3gpm and we've pegged 200psi gauges with them. Fantastic pumps. Look at the DB2025A.

how's it handle ethanol? I have yet to find something that works as well as bosch 044 with all combination of fuels at reasonable pricing.

I am excited to see the new setup and the new dyno numbers with the 4.2

I am at this road with my car too. I want to run e85 like I am now at the 35psi level. I like the big aeromotive pumps, but for that money, you could do dual 044.. Sure, there would be less complexity, but a big ruckus back there.

Works with gas, diesel, methanol, ethanol, nitromethane, race fuels and jet fuel plus I'm sure other stuff...The DB2025A is good to ~1400hp, so maybe you don't need one that big, but they have the DB2015A which is good to ~1000hp. Plus a whole host of -8 in/out pumps.

Those Weldon pumps are still more expensive than 2 044 pumps though, unless I am missing something.

if you factor in splitter, fittings, hose ends, etc the dual 044s may be more expensive at retail, but I have a wholesale line on 044 pumps, do not have wholesale line on weldon racing stuff ;)

This car sounds very mean from the next lane.

It's pretty fast, too.

And stinky!! I think I smelled some clutch mixed in with all those unburned hydrocarbons :)

nah, that would be the oil vapors overpowering my single provent CCV. I have a 2nd one on order :)

So I take it the side valve seems to be working? its on my list to double check the actuation on it, I cant really hear a difference from inside the car, but there are other things to concentrate on at WOT in that thing... ;)

there is no organic matter in the clutch system to smell (sintered iron Southbend Stage 5) and it definitely does not slip. The tires on the other hand, have a habit of doing that on occasion.
