Brake ducts can be tough to do from that location due to the ends of the frame rails being right there.

I already have functional brake ducts, but I might have to do it for cosmetic reasons, I think that looks fantastic.

I would have to agree, but then again, I'm a bit biased...

...I use mine to apply positive pressure to the engine bay and supercharge the airbox for extra boost. Works awesome.

I am not a fan of the shaved bumper look.

I wonder how extending the large openings to the top of the fog opening would look? Think RS3.

I was starting to think I would never see this day. I have officially certified these as good enough for paint! I might actually take a day off this week and spray the bumpers and front fenders!

Looking good Jim. Just remember it takes a lot of car to carry a bright yellow. Most cars can't, but in your case the looks and the performance is plenty to carry that yellow. It's going to look good with newly painted bumper covers!!

Here you go:). Made a giant mess as usual and have a few runs to sand out, but I am very happy to be here.

I would love to get it all together for this weekend, but with rain and cool temps, I think this paint is going to take a while to harden up.

Cool! So is this the same paint/color as rear quarters or doors?? Doors look more like true ginster, or are you repainting this too?

They are LY1A, ginster with clear. The same as the rear quarters. I'll do the rest of the car this summer between track events. The Yellow fades so fast it's kind of depressing. When I had my B4 front fenders painted LY1A with clear about 5 years ago, the difference was drastic, similar to the rear quarters to the doors. Now they look almost like the doors, you can barely tell they are newer paint, especially next to the brand new paint...

Interesting. Guess I've never seen fresh Ginster then :P

When's the next event? I have an itch to fly out, rent something decent and drive some new track out there.
