and its not just because its 034 that the price is high. I looked them up other places and they weren't much cheaper.

cuz I buy the ballerest shit I can

;)

I dunno, I guess because 034 claims they are even better than the copper ones and nuts backing off are one of the main things I just do not want to put up with. I want to put them on one time and never look again. (until its time for my BAMFin next build phase)

They actually make and carry really quality stuff typically, but yeah...that price says otherwise. Thats why I'm going to call them up tomorrow and get the scoop.

So is this a case of you get what you pay for or its "all good" just curious?

I mean I run a knockoff DV that someone just gave me...for the hell of it. Its been awesome. I don't want to use anything knockoff on this build, but maybe this valve... I dunno. It depends. I bet it'd be fine. As long as it seals and flows well, I'm fine. It might be a good piece at a great price. Cheap doesn't always mean knockoff...but usually does.

You are talking about the ex mani correct? It is 034's. Everyone else is talking about a BOV.

oh yeah sorry...yeah. I have the log manifold. I'm not going to comment on it further. Take a look in the T3 manifold thread. The main problem is it doesn't fit the studs and the wg placement is retarded but we already knew that (but not before paying for it).

it's good to see some progress!! I'm sidelined BIG time for now... maybe for another year who knows. I at least have the motor build parts coming but I have no idea when I'll be up and running again. :(

Good luck, keep it up! Are you thinking about H20 at all this year? Renting a condo on the strip again this year...

something like that. dont know what the conversion rate is currently :D

supposedly people run a bit slower there cause the track is such a peice of shit. My 60ft times were pretty bad, suposedly cars at NED run a couple tenths faster, but i really doubt my car is going any faster than 11.7 unless something bigger is added.

hahahah yeah I know...bigger turbo for bigger car. We'll see. It will be a long time before I get to the track. I'm scurred of breaking my 016.

Casey, I dunno about H20 or WF. I seriously doubt I'll be able to make it but you never know.

I talked to RPS about that BOV. Gotta love an honest company. He's like yeah...they are Tial knockoffs and made overseas. Also said they have run lots of them no problem. I'm not sure what I want to do...but I may run one. Its not like its the end of the world if it fails. I also might have to try that JGS 60mm. Its piston style and made in Oregon. Should be good quality and should outflow the Tial 50mm no problem.

Also might pick up some 2" ID flex pipe to reroute the wg. I don't want no po po attention! AND I want to hear the Holset at full tilt without the crazy wg sound killing it :)

yea, holset sounds>unmuffled wg sounds. Plus I love how the exhaust note on my car goes from mellow to scream when the WG opens. (usually its then followed by a rev limiter and a fireball :) )
