What about the alloy block?
Re: Hanks 81 URQ Dyno 612whp 527wtq
Thats the project after the clips!!!
I have spent too much of my life looking at billet blocks in other application. It wouldn't be that hard, but just bloody expensive.

There's a guy that makes the visor clips in aluminum. I've seen him selling them on VW and Porsche forums. I'll have to find his website.

It's always nice to check back on this thread. Nice job Hank !!
Re: Hanks 81 URQ Dyno 612whp 527wtq
I took my last final today, and had some free time to go down to the shop and get out some packages that had been lingering. My BMW buddy came by with his e30 m3 with a m52 swap in it, fresh with a new built bottom end. We needed to modify the downpipe a bit, as he switched headers. He has a 35r in that car, and it is a monster. Not quite URQ fast, but it is only running 14-15psi at the moment. Anywho, here is a crappy phone picture of two dirty 80s factory boxflared widebodies with more than 1000whp combined
Yum. I need to get me one of those. The lack of traction in 3rd is enough to get anybodies blood flowing!!!

The M3 looks suspiciously un-M3ish
