Very nice Chris! I really love your old mill, but this is hard not to get excited about. I may have to make a special trip to Salt Lake just to check it out. Can it make Lancia parts?

Pure awesomeness, the fab capabilities are impressive. Open for tours? I'll be in PC in a few weeks for the freestyle junior nationals with a side trip to Alta and the fish taco stand. Shooting for Wed the 6 for the trip up LCC.

Sure. Anyone is welcome to stop by. Not much to tour at the moment, especially in the winter as I'm mostly shut down out there due to the weather. But I can still shoot the bull with the best of 'em while kicking back some 75th anniversary Alta ales and scarfing down a fish taco or two.

Nice. Very nice.

One thing I noticed looking back at your caliper/rotor pictures...I would recommend you shave those caliper pins down some. While clearance is there when stationary your rotor will flex enough to hit the pin and leave a nice mark on the rotor ring. BTDT...and had to shave for about 2mm clearance on each side. Shit, pretty soon you can make your own calipers.

Buys $20k used cnc and runs it only part of the year due to no heat in the building.

Probably not that he can't heat it, but rather because it would cost about $900 / month TO heat it

Yeah, Petar. I will trim the pins. It's on the list. Between flex and thermal expansion, its a little close for comfort.

And Marc, it does seem a bit silly, but in reality, I will have heat out there for next winter and it won't really be up and running this winter anyway. So this machine, once installed, will be able to run year 'round.

Good thing I do remodeling too.
