It's eurospec's IIRC 17k for a stripped chassis, partial side pods with molds.

Compomotive MO1681 (16x8.0)

I forget what the offset is...can check the wheel if you'd like

The engine bay is looking really nice! Could you provide some details on where the plug wire grommets came from?

Thanks.

Certainly...
They're MSD Pro-Clamp Wire Separators 8843. I bought from local speed shop and they're available online.

Sorry, I should've called them something more specific... I was interested in the round boots that cover the plug holes.
Thanks again!

Edit: I have a sneaky suspicion that they came as part of the Magnecor plug wire set and are not sold separately.

No worries. And yes, your suspicions serve you well....they are built onto the 3B wire set. PM me your email address and I can send you their catalog pdf

16" eh? I thought they looked bigger. Look a lil bit like UrS4 wheels. Great looking on your car!

Finally figured out the Turbo outlet to IC + Diverter valve plumbing puzzle! Prettiest thing in the world? Maybe not, but looks like it will help me make that Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs.

Thanks go to Sam, JT, Dan the Man and Jimmy for your help

3B oil filter housing mounting complete. Now another iggly, niggly problem after mounting :frustrated: There's 2 mounting provisions on the block (for a/c compressor mount I'm assuming) that are now preventing me from screwing on the larger capacity 068 115 561B oil filters. I'll need to either:
A) grind off the 3-4mm on those provisions so that filter will fit
or
B) just use the standard capacity 3B oil filter

Would it matter either way??

Have not...only for B6 A4 1.8T. They are not one and the same? If the overall diameter is smaller, then I'm picking up a few.

they are different, also if your down for some trimming the EV filter should be able to fit

theres an oilfilter thread around here somewhere, covers what fits in there between block bosses and oil pan relief, etc

Nice little addition, install almost complete. Waiting for AN fittings to arrive and need to find better way to cut threaded rod....angle grinder wheel deforms threads too much

Whenever I cut ready-rod in the field I just use a grinder and a zip disc.

Image

Then smooth the burrs with either the grinder (ought to switch to a grinding disc) or a sharp file. Never had an issue.

The first couple threads on a stud are always meant to be imperfect anyways, they don't hold anything... rather, just help get the nut started.

Oh shit that's me in the A's hat.... LOL :woowoo: Is the gearbox ready to go yet Dave? Looks like you have sorted things pretty good. I've been busy in the shop myself, they cut my hours at work few months back, so I've been toying away with the extra spare time, the bike is one of two here I just got done sorting out, and now onto the other one. The ur quattro is staring at me, at least the drive shaft is done, can't decide on which motor I'm going to install I have two 20v's here, bone stock, and a the breathed on one... KEEP GOING I want to hear that thing run! :-)

Haha...yep, that be you man. Gearbox/Shift linkage is all set...was kind of a PITA. Now stuck on a few minor puzzles for WBo2 sensor/harness, TPS cable extension and RS2 fan install.

You have a project thread going for yours?

run a die down over the threads, then cut them and back the die off, cleaning the threads
