It sure does, way better then the rear ABT muffler. I hated the square tips! no sound clips yet. I hope to make a little vid clip soon.

No. The driver was the previous owner of my avant. Yes it looks slow compaired to your silver UrS6

Re: My UrS6 Avant
The exhaust looks good. I have a Gen IV system on my car. My only complaint about it is that it is too quiet. Otherwise, nice fit and finish. I will be switching to one of our full 3-inch systems in the future to give it a little more sound.

Re: My UrS6 Avant

Old seats out and was shocked how clean it was under the seats.

Black seats installed and I'll say that these feel way more supportive then the old seats. I spent a little time cleaning the seats but I need to clean them more when I get more time to do so. I kinda like the 2 tone look and I'm looking to buy black UrS6 avant seat backs.
Re: My UrS6 Avant
You took the words right out my mouth when you said the two-tone looks good..... I like it. Kinda helps get rid of the sea of black.

Fixed it for ya
Re: My UrS6 Avant
A cool, unique look for sure. Not at all saying all black is not really cool but two tone may be as cool and unique also.

Re: My UrS6 Avant

I finally bought and installed black UrS6 avant from a early 95 model which has the open headrest to match the 92 UrS4 front seats. I really like the two tone look and going to keep it this way for awhile.
I also swapped out the hood cylinder with the extendable hood cylinder,

out with the old,

and in with the new.

Re: My RS2'd UrS6 Avant
Update time.

I bought a used set of Euro headlights and installed the DDM HID 55W 5000k kit.
I took the head off my spare motor and had it rebuilt and installed. The old head was causing my low compression at cylinder 3.

Jim said the block looks pretty good for its 249,xxx miles.

She turned 250,000 miles on Dec. 20th 2010.

Bought and installed 034 high flow silicone turbo inlet hose.

Bought RS2 replica injectors shortly after Christmas.

Installed the RS2 rep injectors. Sorry for the crappy cell pics.

I sent out my ECU and Marc installed MRC RS2 chipset with VMAP set at 3 bar.

Bought LS2 coil kit.

Finally installed. Holy crap does this 252,xxx mile avant haul!

Re: My RS2'd UrS6 Avant *engine bay overhaul begins*
Update time. I'm going to be doing a complete overhaul under the hood. I'm going to start by pulling the old motor out and replace every hose, vac lines and sensors etc, etc. I also plan on buying a new radiator and all new coolant hoses, send out the power steering rack to get rebuilt and the PS pump too. Also I'm going to send out my RS2 turbo to get rebuilt.
On Sunday I took the avant to my parents house and parked it in their garage so the disassemble can begin. Once I get the motor out, she'll be heading off to get the engine bay repainted and clear coated.

She's waiting for the overhaul to begin.
Tonight I started to disassemble my avant. I'm taking my time doing this and only doing a little bit at a time so I dont get burnt out during the process. I cant wait to have this engine bay overhaul completed. It'll be all nice and clean under the hood 8)

All I did was take out the air box and all the intercooler system parts minus the IC core itself.

When I removed the MM hose, alot of oil poured out :(
Next on the list is to drain the engine oil so I can start removing the turbocharger and also drain the cooling system so I can start removing those parts. I'll be taking lots of pics throughout the this process. Wish me luck!

Re: My RS2'd UrS6 Avant *got my old head rebuilt with 7a cam
Not too long ago I took the old head from my avant in to have it inspected and got a call back that its all good to go to do a rebuild. Today I picked up the rebuilt head and had 7a cams (thanks Jim) installed.

Today I tried to remove the turbo from the wastegate/manifold but didnt get very far because of the rust and some of the nuts got rounded :frustrated: so I quit for the day. Now I have to deal with getting those removed.
