I'm with Dana, It'd be cool to see some numbers!
one other request, I'm just wondering what kind of MPG you are getting? I know it not built for that but, if you go easy on it , what could you get?
I just started dd my 200 again with a gt3071 and Ben Swann 3 bar chip, Goes very nice , but mileage is a bit less than I thought it would be, when I go easy on it. Thinking about VEMS.

I dunno, I've been curious about that as well though. I'll have to see next time I take a semi-long trip. I was getting like 25 on stock injectors with plenty more tuning to do. I'm hoping to do the same with these injectors because they go low enough to make the car not even run.

Mileage off boost should be constant right? If the air is the same then the fuel should be given the same AFR.

Thats what I thought, I go super easy on it, and I'm gettin, like ~15mpg.

Can you monitor AFR?

With stock injectors, gt3071, IA 3+ chip, I was getting almost exactly the same mileage, but the car was way stronger, I'm sure I was going pretty lean at times though. With 42lbers and Ben's chip, It pretty rough, watch the gauge go down style.
Sorry the thread jack, but you want to get to 200 pages, right???

Yeah, When you are not under load you can lean things out pretty far. I need one too.

Yeah, I love the power, very smooth(props to Ben), but I was hoping to get a little better mpg when I'm just hobblin it around.
I guess a wide band would be pretty telling of whats going on.

anyway ya, as long as injectors have good characteristics and can get you lean enough, then on cruise mileage should be the same.

I really can not take it anymore. How much does the local drag strip test and tune cost? I REALLY want to know what that turbo will do. I am going to take up a collection, pay it myself or turn that video of you running a red light over to the authorities. what ever it takes champ.

yes sir, I'm definitely doing one.
I just downloaded some Holset service manuals for rebuilding the HX52 and maybe the H1C when I take it out (just for kicks). Its not a joke to do all of that. I know all parts are zero balanced, but I'm a little concerned with using the new turbine wheel and shaft with the old compressor wheel. I'm sure it will be fine, but it would be interesting to find out who balances turbine shaft assemblies around here. I dunno. All I know is that I have a perfect turbine wheel and shaft that I just got in the mail today from Goldfarb Also polished the comp housing last night.

Damnit Chris! I am starting to have doubts about my turbo choice. xD Either way, I wanna see pictures of you rebuilding that sucker! I have had a few apart before for seals and crap, but never a full on rebuild.

Loxx, you will definitely need to have your turbo rebalanced if you change out the turbine wheel. I had my K26/27 i built balanced at majestic turbo in texas. It was about two weeks door to door, and was $95 including shipping. Worth the peace of mind i think. Unless you'd like to see what what happens when the turbine grenades at 80,000rpm...
