so my window regulator took a poop again.. damned car.

UGH.

i REALLY need to start saving for new struts and springs. Im not trying to go drastic, so i am thinking about Koni Adjustables and H&R sport springs? it is what i would have done for my 200.

then i need to replace all the bushings and the control arms. the Rear subframe needs new bushings and i havent had the chance to swap out my trans mount yet. or is it two of them?

wondering about a 5 lug swap...
i really miss my audi 200 20v wheels. They were so bad ass.

So, what bushings do I need for a complete suspension update?

I need to get control arms for the front and some new struts and springs, but what else?

lol Kuma, thats funny you broke your O shiz handle. I had a similar problem about a month ago. I felt soo fat. Pulling my lazy ass outta the coupe, that handle had no chance. Everyone who saw me thought it was pretty funny :x

A complete suspension overhaul might consist of;
Subframe bushings, front and rear
Control Arm Bushings All 4 Corners
All 4 Upper strut mount bushings/bearings
Lower Ball Joints, Front and Rear
Front and rear Tie rods

Engine Mounts, Trans Mounts, and rear diff mounts would be good to replace too, if it hasn't already been done.

I bought 034 aluminum sub frame bushings YEARS ago and never installed them. My stock bushings were actually in pretty good shape. My coupe also has some white poly CA bushings up front that were on the car, and the rears were stock. I'd probably still want to put some poly rears in. 034 sells them. I'm not sure who else. I've seen some purple powerflex? ones on ebay and other places online.

That reminds me sway bar bushings and endlinks should be replaced along with all the other mentioned parts. And if you're going to be replacing all that old rubber you might as well be upgrading to parts that will last longer and make your coupe feel much tighter

yeah, thats the plan... i really want those Coilovers on the swap meet... but i doubt ill get them fast enough if my retirement check doesnt come in quickly.

im trying to get all the upgraded bushings and such so that i can have a less bouncy car...

just noticed too though that the calve cover gasket is leaking... but not a lot, just seaping slightly.

So i just purchased a short shifter for pretty cheap. but i looked it and think its a bilzcat? its not the JHM one... although, thats the one i wanted, but if this one works well enough, ill keep it for now.

Can anyone tell me if its a bilzcat, an older version of an 034 shifter or if its a home made one?

i have no idea.

looks like the 034 one, could also just be a stock corrado shifter that fits in fairly easily and shortens the throw quite a bit

Do yourself a favor and go with the 034 subframe mounts, and CA bushings. You will be much happier.

I have the joy of having raw materials and the chance to get my hands on the 034 stuff and am able to copy it. But even at the rates I charge people for fab time and material, technically still cheaper to buy from 034. Thats the advantage of them having cnc machines.

What I need to do is find a press first so I can make sure I get my bushings Installed properly. Although... There might be one on post.

This warning can come on when the level in the reservoir is too low. Try adding a little water and see if it goes away.

And the tail light bulb is just loose, so it works and then it doesnt.
