Dan, you have no idea how much I wish I could take it for a spin! To bad it doesn't have an engine yet! :(
Edit: cough... or front CV shafts, Tires, ecu ... etc.

Dude... I wish. :tard: I plan on being there though, I may drive the Pathfinder down and wonder around.
@ jcarrick - Anytime you head up this way, shoot me a PM and your more than welcome to come check it out man!
@ Dan - Your totally right man. I am SOOOO sick of messing around with lame wheel bolts.
CV Shafts are on their way BTW.

Next up... tires. 8)

Please tell me you have the cv's in and torqued. Rolling the car around without them in will ruin the bearings in short order. Derek learned that the hard way.
What tires did you end up with...brand,model,size? I'm gonna guess Dunlop star-spec 215-40-17. Looks fantastic BTW.

SO No, I don't have the front CV's in yet. It won't move another inch till they are in, I also a bit concerned that it is having a problem turning right, so I will sort that out tomorrow. Also, I do wish I could have afforded such a great tire right now, but i really need to focus on getting it going and driving. Then I can spend big money on tires, right now it has a used set of Federals that have 85% tread that I picked up for 150 mounted and balanced. So I couldn't turn it down, especially where i need to get it on the ground so I can hammer out other issues. I will be getting the Dunlops once these get roasted.

Oh and these are: 205 45 17

Ok, so today I couldn't help myself. I had to throw the front end parts on just to see what it will look like.

It's funny how tastes change with time, I am really considering pulling out the LEDs I installed a couple years ago. But anyways, I thought I would throw up some pictures of the car all washed, paint peel and all! I really hope the front end settles nicely once the engine is in, right now it just sticks up in the air!
I just like this shot

I think this picture really shows off how freakin big the brakes are.

... Pay no attention to the catty-wompus drivers side headlight ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ :tard:
I know I am a picture whore, but what can I say? I'm bored? hahaha
Hope you guys enjoy!

I like that first pic too...Looks very professional. Once the motor is in it will settle the nose down, so don't worry about it. the rear should settle a little too, but it's anybodies guess as to how much. And as always pictures are welcomed, the more the merrier. Be careful with the used tires, when I was going to pick and pull with Derek about a two weeks ago we came around a corner and there was a 510 in the ditch. It belonged to the brother of a motorgeeker that Derek knows(he was the tow truck driver at the scene). The poor guy had just finished restoring it over like five years and only had 300 miles on it, and it was totally messed up. His tires did not look good at all, like "don't even drive on them" not good. Dont get me wrong, your tires may be fine. Just hearing about used tires made me think of that so I thought i'd share. Keep up the awesome work Ben, and let the photos roll.

Thank you guys!

I really appreciate all your feedback! Dan, I checked over the tires VERY carefully, specifically for signs of cord separation, bludges etc. They come with a warranty from Schuabies so I think I will be in good shape till I can afford the holy grail (Dunlops).
Jon, the engine has yet to be built up, soooo as soon as I scrape my pennies together I will get the sucker built up and in. I can't wait! Seeing this everyday is going to provide HEAP LOADS of motivation. I think it's time to pick up a 2nd job again so I can get to it.

SO, things have kind of slowed back down in the world of my 4kq, and I thought it was a good time to take stock of what kind of mess I have going on right now and pretty much for me that means photo documentation haha...
The mess ...
Engine Bay...

Interior...

Trunk ...

and some other random stuff...

and the new sig...

I have so much work left to do just looking at all this! I can't wait to get this thing on the damn road!
