Remember, if there is crankcase pressure it doesn't matter how big the drain is if its being forced back up the drain. You have that taken care of with the catch can setup. Just saying, there are a lot of variables.[/quote]
Ya, good point. I totally spaced that, ha

they looked like BMW E39 BBS-style wheels
or are they just legit BBS Super RSs?
Oh sorry, they are bbs style 5's...from an E39 like you said. They are 5x120 and 17x8 et20 (et0 with adapters). Adapters included.

how much you want?
what bolt pattern are they?
Yo Chris, IMO these are the dopest rims you had on your 200. I had not seen this pic yet. Your ride looks hawt like that.
Don't sell 'em or widen them in the rear. Quattro does not like dissimilar widths.
btw, Have you seen/heard ams' vids with the 3076R? How come your ride sounds so different?

Hey Chris, you know I really like them on there too. I didn't at first, but they are growing on me. I think maybe they need an even taller sidewall to really look alright. Also, they just don't look good enough on the 200 with such a small tire as far as width! I will make sure to stagger the tire sizes to match the new rolling diameters of these wheels. Pretty much exactly how I did with the 8.5' and 10's that I was running on this car before. All I know is that as far as investment is concerned, people will pay a LOT for these as a staggered 8 and 10 set.
I have indeed seen the vids with the 3076. One reason mine sounds so different is because of the open wastegate. The other reason is because I haven't used a camera that has good enough frequency response to catch the turbo sounds of the Holset. If you listen carefully to my vids, you can hear the low tones of the turbo some, but you can never hear it once it starts spooling and gets into higher boost. Its loud in person, I just don't have a camera with good sound. I should try it with my gf's 3g iphone. That should get the sounds better!

Yeah a bit more wall height would fill it just right. What is that? Like 35? Now if only you rolled the read arches a tad. hehehe
I was referring to the engine/exhaust note, not so much the turbo, but thanks for clarifying that.
I am starting to appreciate the difference in sound (not to mention price) between Holset/GT open/closed WG.
Oh well, just happy with my old K24 right now. I am gonna be ridin' my S6 again in 10 days.
YEAH!!!

The sidewall on those is 45 actually. They are just short because they are 205's.
I don't know exactly why the exhaust note is so different. His almost sounds v8-ish at times. I know he's got a dual setup. Also, mine is just a random muffler. It sounds great IMO, but I have no idea what it is. Its just straight through though...no chambers. Also I have no cats.

Well, if you have 17x8s you can run 245/45/17. Good proportions imo.
You are right about amd's sound. I though V8 for a sec too. Weird.
I got no cats either. Stock pipes otherwise. It sounds BIG though.
I should make a HD vid of just driving up our garage ramps in the condo.
You can really hear it.

do it

the reason I can't run wider than 205 in the front is because it won't clear the fender if I do. The backs have a little more room to clear though, so I can run a little wider of a tire in proportion to the wheel size. I could probably get away with a 225 on the rear as it sits now. If I widened them (it would only be widened to the inside) I could probably get away with a 255 with no issues just because they would be stretched like the 205's are on the 8's.

I have an hx super 40 (60mm 7 blade wheel) and the bullseye 0.70 ar T3 housing for sale but over here in Greece.
Super 40 are HX40 turbos with 60/84-85mm 7 blade compressor (billet or not).

Well, its either run 205s all a round and learn to 4 wheel drift or roll the front to accommodate 245s, at least (and 4 wheel drift of course).
Mwoahahahaha....

Noo my last setup was
8.5 and 10
225 40 18 and 255 35 18
same rolling diameter, so its OK

Jared they won't work on UrS cars unfortunately, cause they would look sick !

Why? If they work on a 200, I don't see why they wouldn't work on a UrS.

Needs more offset. et32-35 fills the fenders perfect on s-cars. et20 *might* work but would poke a lot, after you add in the adapters, no chance.

Thats weird. ET35 on my car sits WAY inward. FYI you could redrill these so you don't need adapters. It would come in about $200 I think.

ET35 is right on the money on the S6.
The BBS' would look perfect on an S6.

How old is the 02 sensor? Is it switching properly? Vacuum leaks are obvious problems that kill mileage and driveability.

yeah, that's why I wanted to know if they were Super RSs or Style 5s... ET0 isn't going ANYWHERE on a C4
surprised they fit under the fenders of a C3 to be honest
I'm running ET35 on an 8" wide wheel right now and I'm nearly to the fender lip as it is
from my math, ET30 would be ON the fender. ET32 would be 'flush'

i bet the cams also make a big difference, not sure, but i bet the 3076 car has 3b cams in it still. The difference in sound between 3b and 7a cams is huge. The 3b cam sounds like an angry growl, where the 7a cams scream. You can def tell which cams the car has just by sound alone.

So Chris, I have been thinking about your Hargett clamps, and I have been tempted but while searching around I found these:
