You’ll need to remove the little plastic grill nut in the center and possibly the left grill latch. I loosen the two 13mm bolts on the core support (at the frame rails) and it allows you to pull up the core support enough to slide it into its new home.

Seriously the best advice. Loosened the 2 thirteen mm bolts on both sides, lift up and slipped the downpipe side in first and it slide in so easily! I was told this was plug and play....the hardest part about the instal was getting over my own doubt it was going to fit lol. Excellent work!I am finally the owner of something SHINY [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]
THANK YOU ImageImageImageImage

It’s a tight fit but I wanted it to be as big as physically possible for the stock space. You’ll likely have to remove the black grill clip on the left side to get the cooler into the rubber grommets in the core support. The grill is still pretty secure with only the one clip on the right side. Plus when the hood closes it has nowhere to go. Again, one slight downsIde to building the largest possible stock cooler replacement.

I will have to look at my back up core support as I did not see any rubber grommets on mine. I may have to go to Fastenal and pick something up. Oh the fun of modifications...I am starting to get excited knowing it could be a week or so before I can start it back up.

Those aluminum dowels on the side of the intercooler are supposed to slide into the rubber grommets. Hopefully your spare core has them and the bracket.
